• FGR has completed a placement to raise $1.5m.
• Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre at University of
Manchester officially opened on 10 December 2018.
Advanced materials company, First Graphene Limited (“FGR” or “the
Company”) (ASX: FGR) is pleased to report it has completed a
placement of 10 million fully paid ordinary shares at a price of 15¢, with
no attaching options to raise $1.5m. The issue of the 10 million shares is
within the Company’s capacity under Listing Rule 7.1 and will not require
shareholder approval. The placement was predominantly to existing
institutional and family office shareholders. Funds will be used to support
the commissioning of the facilities at GEIC and the recruitment of
additional sales and technical staff.
Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) Opening
The GEIC was officially opened on 10 December 2018 by His Royal
Highness Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
The official opening was attended by VIP invitees from the political and
business communities, including FGR Chairman, Warwick Grigor.
The official opening will be followed today by an Industry Showcase
where 250 industrial attendees are anticipated. This will provide an
opportunity for FGR’s UK based staff to meet downstream partners.
Already there is considerable excitement around the development of
new projects and collaborations and positive discussions are already
progressing on composites, electrochemical manufacturing of
Graphene Oxide, concrete and energy storage materials.
As a Tier 1 participant and provider of graphene materials to GEIC FGR
is anticipating an increase in collaboration and sales during calendar
2019.

kann sein, das es hier schon bekannt ist, ich hab es erst kürzlich auf YouTube entdeckt.
Ich mag den Stil von Herrn Seybold, er trägt so vor, das es möglichst eine neutrale und doch spannende Geschichte ist. Inhaltlich hätte ich mir hier aber etwas mehr Erklärung gewünscht zu: was ist eigentlich Graphen. Die Einleitung zum Vortrag ist auch sehr sehenswert (!) FGR beginnt so ab Minute 12.
Aber nur 61 YouTube Zugriffe ist für den Vortrag definitiv zu wenig.

Graphene.... nur recht hohes Risiko schon jetzt einzusteigen würde ich meinen.... dennoch eine Versuchung!

Ich kann aktuell aber nicht einschätzen, ob 10t viel oder wenig sind, da ich nicht weiß, wieviel kg Graphen man für die einzelnen Produkte benötigt.  

...das Volumen ist so oder so noch nicht so von Relevanz - 10 Tonnen * 250K/Tonne = 2,5Mio. Und das nur unter der Voraussetzung, dass sie wieder den sehr hohen Preis von 250K/Tonne erzielen. Gehe eher davon aus, dass die Preise sinken werden -> Zielkorridor 50-100K/Tonne.

Sie sind ja dran, dass sie mehr als 10T/Jahr liefern dürfen. Hoffe das bekommen sie in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2019 bereits gebacken. Gehe davon aus, dass min. 50T/Jahr erforderlich sind um profitabel zu sein.

Na denn warten wir mal auf die Abnahme von Firestop - sollten wir doch sehr bald ein Update bekommen, Firestop wurde ja Ende Nov. 2018 zur Abnahme eingereicht.

..ich sehe das mit der REACH Zulassung als durchaus positiv. Ein wichtiger Schritt der allen Sicherheit gibt.

Welche Firma würde denn ernsthaft Interesse haben Graphen zu verwenden, wenn es für Massenanwendungen kein grünes Licht gäbe?

Wir haben jetzt also ein Verfahren zur Herstellung, REACH und GEIC (mit Goodwin/Ladislaus), so einige Beziehungen zu Universitäten und Firmen, einen zuversichtlichen WG (..well, in a years time..) und einige Jahre mit fetten Förderungssummen an diversen Universitäten.....

Rom wurde nicht an einem Tag erbaut, aber FGR erscheint mir nun doch wirklich gut positioniert.

subtile bashing andeutungen usw
und meiner meinung geht der kurs nicht runter und wenn mal dann um zu kaufen...ist ja auch einfach bei den aktien wo zeitweise wenig gehandelt wird
